Hotel Ynez

Had a wonderful time at hotel ynez. The staff was super helpful. The rooms where very clean. It's not an impersonal hotel. They have plenty of open space. 2. Firepits to enjoy the night sky and stay warm.

The vibe is great here. Would be perfect on a warm early summer evening, -and bring your dog. Numerous fire pits and clever “Motel California “ motif. Staff is a little untrained but kind.

This hotel is an ideal location for two or group retreat! We definitely left longing for more time. The hotel's aesthetics evoke a sense of an Italian hideaway. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with a “sit down, stay a while” vibe. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Luis greeted us as a friend we’d known for a long time! Tucked away from the highway noise, the location is ideal! A little over a mile to Solvang, 4 miles to Los Olivos. Definitely a must-stay for a weekend getaway!

Definitely have to drive to food, but cute well a portioned rooms, clean, very lovely stay.

What a gem of a place! We travel between San Diego and the Bay Area with our dog fairly often, and we finally discovered a hotel we can stop along the way that is comfortable, thoughtfully designed and super dog friendly. We only stayed the night to get a night's rest, but we easily could've made it a destination stay. The beds are super cozy, amenities are plentiful, and the grounds are impeccable. Bravo job, Hotel Ynez. Thanks for the great stay and see you soon!

Everything about Hotel Ynez, from the design choices to the service, feels so well curated and intentional. I’ve stayed here twice and both trips have been magical- hope to come back again!

I went on my wedding night with my husband and thought it would be a romantic evening. The room we had reserved had issues with the soaking tub outside and so the wonderful staff (Luis) upgraded us to a better suite. The staff did such a wonderful job and even had champagne in our room for us. The main issue we had at the hotel was that the soaking tubs they have in the better rooms take a very very long time to fill and since they were outside, they were dirty. The hotel is also a bit hard to find and figure out. It was raining when we got there and we were wandering around in the dark trying to figure out where the office was. I think it was an OK/ good experience that would have been not-so great if it wasn’t for the staff being so wonderful. The rooms themselves were quite pretty and the courtyard is stunning. A good find if you are staying for a few days.

We have stayed at Hotel Ynez multiple times over the last couple of years and each stay has been excellent. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff are professional and friendly and the location is perfect for a weekend getaway for wine tasting in the area. The individual “casitas” offer privacy, outdoor sitting areas and a hammock! The grounds are lovely with outdoor fire pits, seating areas and a small swimming pool. Perfect place if you have a dog also. Out go to place.
